Meeting Reminder

Our October meeting is this Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Grace Episcopal Church, 110 Oswego St., Baldwinsville NY. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Our October Program Project below looks stunning in fall colors!

Every Girl’s Cowl Presented by Pat H.
One of the benefits of doing this project is to learn a new cast on and bind off. She suggested members bring the following supplies:

• Size 5-11 needles- Pat says this garment is meant to be loose. Although the pattern calls for a size 8 needles she recommends using the size that will give you a loose and drapey fabric. She states she used size 9 herself.

• 2 skeins of Mohair, or Faux Mohair yarn (suggested yarns were Cascade’s Kid Seta 300 yards or Rowan’s Kid Silk Haze 229 yards) or a Fingering/Sock weight yarn.

• Beads (optional) size 6. It is suggested that you get a color of bead close to the color of your yarn to blend better.
